The Walmart Supercenter in LaVale is holding a ribbon cutting Friday at 8 am to celebrate the store’s remodel. Store Manager, Brad Leydig, told WCBC their location is the first in the state to be updated this year and they’ve hired 65 new employees. The remodel includes bringing back more cashiers, revamping the pharmacy and expanding to enable digital orders to be processed more efficiently…
“That was the biggest investment in capitol and expanding the actual building. The biggest impact to our customers is probably going to be that front end. It gives us that face-to-face interaction again that I think we kind of got away from, and then we have updated our pharmacy. We have more bays and an extra pharmacist.”
