On Saturday, November 15, 2025, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on John Sell. The summons was issued in response to a citizen's complaint regarding the destruction of property. Sell was served with the summons and released pending his trial at the Allegany County District Court.

CHARGE: Malicious Destruction of Property

Warrant Arrest

On Saturday, November 15, 2025, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on William Stewart Sr. The warrant was issued as a result of Stewart failing to comply with the terms of his pretrial release. Stewart was placed under arrest and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center, where he was held without bond, pending his trial.

CHARGES: Fail to Comply (Burglary Second Degree, Burglary Third Degree, Malicious Destruction of Property, Disorderly Conduct, Litter Dump, Attempted Burglary Second Degree, Attempted Burglary Third Degree)

Warrant Arrest

 

On Saturday, November 15, 2025, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Anthony Combs Jr.  The warrant was issued as a result of Combs failing to appear for his trial on November 7, 2025. Combs was placed under arrest and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center, where he awaits his initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.
