The proposed Mid-Atlantic Resiliency Link, a transmission line that would run from Pennsylvania through Maryland to Virginia is raising a large number of opponents from residents to nature lovers. “They want to expand the right-of-way to over 600 feet. 600 feet is a lot of space. It’s going to take private property, farm land. This area – Garrett and Allegany County are known for its tourism, of course. You’re going to go through state parks and state forests if this thing goes through.”
