One person was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries on Monday when a wind turbine blade broke loose from a trailer at the I-70/I-81 interchange in Hagerstown.  The accident occurred around 5am when the westbound windmill blade came off the hauler and crossed the median into eastbound lanes during the early morning commute.  Westbound lanes of traffic were shut down for almost three hours as the blade was removed from the highway.
