Receiving this year's youth volunteer award was 10-year-old, Remington Buckbee saying he enjoys activities like Stuff the Bus and Day of Caring and Sharing where he volunteered in Westernport mucking out buildings, Buckbee talking with WCBC News said that the community needs a lot of help…


"It looked like they need a lot of help and it was sad to see it was destroyed."

Jason Deal a volunteer in the organization for over 10 years was surprised about being recognized with a volunteer award and said one of the projects he's most proud of is helping the homeless…


"Helping the homeless, is probably one of the biggest thing that I noticed, that needed the most need — has the most need and is one of the things I’m most proud of."
