On May 1, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department served six Arrest Warrants on David Martin Boyd. The warrants were issued when Boyd failed to appear in court for six different cases. The charges for those cases include, Assaults, Dangerous Weapon Conceal, Disorderly Conduct, and Use Credit Card of Another.  Boyd was seen before a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center, held without bond.
