A Wind Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service from 6 a.m. till 7 p.m. Friday n Maryland, Central and Eastern Allegany and Western Garrett Counties. In Virginia, Central Virginia Blue Ridge and Northern Virginia Blue Ridge, and Augusta, Eastern Highland, and Western Highland Counties. In West Virginia, Eastern Grant, Eastern Mineral, and Eastern Pendleton Counties.

West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
