On Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department responded to the Fairfield Inn on Wineow St for the report of a subject trespassing. Upon arrival, officers contacted employees who advised a female subject was in the lobby who had previously been asked to leave. Officers learned that the female, Priya Nandita Pooran, 53, of Valencia CA, was not a paying customer and had been asked to leave the property numerous times over the past few days, only to return a short time later. As a result, Pooran was escorted from the property and issued a criminal citation for trespassing. She was later released, pending trial in District Court
