WV Rural Health Funding Ready To Go

West Virginia now has its monetary share of the federal Rural Health Transformation program in its possession. After advocating for several months, the Mountain State received $199 million for year one to enhance rural healthcare services throughout the state. Governor Patrick Morrisey says availability for funding will become available in the coming days…
“That’s gonna provide facilities and healthcare providers across the state with opportunities to make improvements in terms of how they’re delivering care to patients. More accessibility in terms of the ability to access the healthcare choices that you need, and improvements in terms of recruiting, retention, that matters tremendously.”
