Maryland Preschool Funding Ranking Doesn’t Tell Whole Story

The National Institute for Early Education Research says Maryland ranks 17th nationwide in spending on preschooling despite large increases in per pupil spending for its preschoolers.  Nearly 40% of the state’s four-year-olds and 8% of three-year-olds now attend Pre-k.
