Free public tours today and Saturday, June 20, at the Gordon Roberts House and History Discovery Center will begin at noon till 4 p.m. as part of Museum Week. The Gilded Age comes alive at this 1867 home at 128 Washington Street built for the Gordon family and occupied for over half a century by the Roberts family. The History Discovery Center at Blue Springs located at 400 North Mechanic Street is a handsome 1845 Canada Hose House now home for a “history of purpose” that walk-up visitors can tour Friday and Saturday.
