Sheriff’s Office Seeking Assistance to Locate Vehicle

The Allegany County Sheriff’s Department is requesting the public’s help in locating a vehicle and driver that left the scene of a fatal accident in LaVale. Monday, July 6th, Tina Gillespie was struck and killed crossing Campground Road.  The Sheriff’s office is attempting to locate a Subaru Forester, light in color with Maryland tags that left the scene of the accident.  Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact Corporal Jacob Martel at the Allegany County Sheriff’s office.
