CNBC Poll Puts Maryland Almost Last For Economy

A new poll by CNBC takes a dim view of Maryland’s economy and policies.  Maryland ranked 44^th of the states for the cost of doing business.  It ranked 49^th for overall economy.  The state’s overall score was 36^th out of 50.  Maryland did score positively for infrastructure at 17, quality of life at 12, and 16^th for education.  Neighboring Pennsylvania ranked 13^th for doing business and West Virginia ranked 46^th.
