River Park Making Progress

The Canal Place Preservation and Development Authority continues to make steady progress on Phase I of the River Park project. According to Kim Folk, Acting Director for Canal Place, the group is waiting on permits and approvals for the first phase. That phase focuses on development of the River Park’s trail systems, which includes connection to West Virginia, Potomac River access, and a parking lot to be constructed below I-68 near Riverside Park.
