Burlington Family Services Receives Grant

Child Advocacy Center Grants to support projects across West Virginia have been announced. The grants will strengthen the state’s response to child abuse and neglect through support, forensic interviews, medical evaluations, counseling, education, and other critical services for child victims. The grants are administered by the state’s Justice and Community Services. Burlington United Methodist Family Services will receive $98,000 for intake, investigation, and follow up for victims of child abuse aged 3 to 17, in Mineral, Hampshire, and Hardy Counties.
