The House and Garden Club of Frostburg is hosting their third Thrift Shop Sale on Sat, Sept 9 and Sun, Sept 10 from 9 am to 4 pm at Frostburg City Place, 14 South Water Street to raise money for beautification projects in Frostburg. If you would like to contribute to the sale, donations for this event (list below) will be accepted and can be dropped off at City Place between 2 pm and 7 pm on Friday, Sept 8, 2023.
In addition to quality donated furniture, gardening related items and household items, there will be handcrafted items, baked goods and house plants. Items are organized in sections by price and are marked down as the sale progresses throughout the 2-day sale. Donated items in the sale can include: furniture (chairs, small tables, coffee tables, dressers, bed frames), lamps (floor, table, hanging), artwork, rugs, kitchenware (including utensils, cookware, serving ware, dishes, small appliances, glasses, stemware), clocks, aprons, decorative tabletop items (including centerpieces, book ends, table runners, place mats, cloth napkins, table cloths), flower pots and vases, garden utensils & lights, garden art, decorative pillows, baskets and crafting supplies. Books limited to gardening, home decorating and flowers, and large coffee table books (any subject). Accessories such as purses, hats, scarves, umbrellas. NO CLOTHING, OR TOYS.
