The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police and Barrack C have combined resources to target open and active warrants.
As a result, the following individuals have been apprehended.
Nalesia McCauley, 22 of Cumberland, was arrested on a Fugitive Warrant from Harrisonburg, VA for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Distribution / Sell for Profit of Schedule I / II Narcotics. She is being held without bond pending extradition to Virginia.
Donald Grant Cosner, 50 of Westernport, was wanted by Frederick County Circuit Court for Violation of Pre-Trial Release. On 10/18/23, members of the Allegany County Combined Warrant Unit were in Westernport when a white GMC Yukon, a vehicle of interest, was seen backing out of a residence in the 100 block of Main Street. The vehicle backed straight across Main Street into a private parking lot. Officers pulled into the parking lot to make contact with the individuals in the GMC Yukon. Just as the Officer started to get out of his vehicle, the GMC Yukon immediately took off heading South on Main Street. A brief vehicle pursuit ensued. The Yukon was stopped at the top of Oak Street where the driver was positively identified as Cosner, who was wanted by Frederick County Circuit Court. He was released to the custody of Frederick County.
