Allegany County Sheriff’s Office Arrest Report

The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police have combined resources to target open and active warrants. As a result, the following individuals have been apprehended.

Wednesday, January 31, 2024
Summer Lynn Filer, 39 of Cresaptown, was served a District Court Arrest Warrant. Her charges include: 2 counts of 2nd Degree Assault, 2 counts of Malicious Destruction of Property value < $1000, Disturbing the Peace and Trespass-Private Property. She was released on her own recognizance at her initial appearance.

Thursday, February 1, 2024
Rodney Lee Smith, 57 of Cumberland, was served a Circuit Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Violation of Probation hearing. His original conviction was for Attempted – Theft: $100 To Under $1,500 where he received a 6-month suspended sentence with 24-months of supervised probation.
Alexis Leah Davis, 21 of Essex, was served two (2) District Court Bench Warrants for Failure to Appear. Her original charges include: Driving on Suspended Driver's License and Driving Vehicle on Highway with Suspended Registration. She was released on her own recognizance at her initial appearance.

Friday, February 2, 2024
Dameon Eugene Lockett, 41 of Cumberland, was served a Circuit Court Bench Warrant for Violation of Probation. His original conviction was for: Assault -2nd Degree where he was sentenced to 6-years incarceration with all but 1-year suspended and 2-years supervised probation.
Nelson Jeronimo Marquina, 29 of Lavale, was served a District Court Arrest Warrant for the following charges: felony Child Abuse-2nd Degree-Custodian and Assault 2nd Degree. He was released from commitment after posting a $5,000 corporate bond.
