The Allegany County Chamber of Commerce recently held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to welcome Sixty Pershing Street to the Chamber and to the community. Sixty Pershing Street is home to the Rainmaker/McCoury group’s new endeavor – training ACM students for jobs in digital marketing for both business and entertainment platforms. By blending their industry contacts – Spotify, major talent agencies, top music management companies, record companies, music festivals – with their needs as festival producers and touring musicians, they are creating local job opportunities. They are offering paid internship hours on work and interaction with industry professionals in Nashville, NYC, Stockholm, and beyond.
Their goal is to create a workspace competitive with Nashville, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. They will be connected to those cities virtually, and when their remote instructors see the workspace, they’ll see an environment that’s comparable to the best the music business has to offer across the country.
