Allegany County Sheriff’s Arrests

The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police – Barrack C have combined resources to target open and active warrants. As a result, the following individuals have been apprehended.

Monday, January 15, 2024
Herbert Franklin Sumey, 42 of Uniontown, PA was arrested on a District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear. His original charge is for Driving on a Suspended Out-Of-State License. He was released on his own recognizance after appearing for a bail review in District Court.

Tuesday, January 16, 2024
Amanda Sue Winchester, 39 of Frostburg, was arrested on a District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear. Her original charges include: Firearms Access by Minors, CDS: Possession of Cannabis over Civil Limit, Animal Cruel Fail: Provide, and Cannabis Cultivation Violation. She was released after posting a $2,500 bond.

Wednesday, January 17, 2024
Stevie Mariah Coffman, 30 of Westernport, was served a Circuit Court Grand Jury Indictment for CDS related charges including: 2 counts of CDS: Possession – Not Cannabis and 2 counts of felony CDS: Possession with intent to Distribute: Narcotics. He is being held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.
Jessica Alexis Jones, 31 of Cumberland, was arrested on a District Court Bench Warrant for Violation of Probation. Her original conviction was for Resisting Arrest and Interfere With Arrest. She was released on her own recognizance after appearing before a District Court judge.
