FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SHERIFF’S OFFICE ALLEGANY COUNTY The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police – Barrack C have combined resources to target open and active warrants. As a result, the following individuals have been apprehended.

Tuesday, August 8, 2023 Jaylyn Floyd Butler, 22, of Cumberland was arrested on a Circuit Court Bench Warrant for Violation of Probation. His original charge was Conspire CDS Distribution of Narcotics. Mr. Butler is held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.

Jessica Lynn Tallman, 35, of Cumberland was arrested on a Circuit Court Bench Warrant: Violation of Pre-Sentence Release conditions. She is being held without bond.

Thursday, August 10, 2023 Matthew Wesley Martin, 25, of Grantsville, was arrested on a Garrett Circuit Court Bench Warrant for Violation of Probation. His original charge: Reckless Endangerment. He has been released on a $2,500 Unsecured Personal Bond.

Cole Michael McCormick, 31, of Cumberland, was served an Arrest Warrant for Child Abuse 2nd Degree: House and 2 counts of Assault 2nd Degree. He is being held at the Allegany County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond and is pending a bail review in District Court.
