The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police combined resources to target open and active warrants.
As a result, on Friday, October 20, 2023, Sophie Mae Holland, 46 of Baltimore, was arrested on a Circuit Court Bench Warrant for Violation of Probation. Her original charge was Theft-Scheme: $1,000 To Under $10,000. Holland was extradited from Dundalk, Md to the Allegany County Detention Center where she is being held without bond pending a bail review in Circuit Court.
