According to ANCHOR, a citizen’s group opposed to the placement of wind turbines on Dan’s Mountain, work is continuing to place the turbines there. The group has seen road improvements and clear cutting of timber on the mountain as signs of progression. Darlene Park of Anchor told WCBC what she has found out about the size of the turbines to be placed on Dan’s Mountain.
She said these turbines are bigger than any currently in operation in the area…
