On Saturday, Cumberland Police served a criminal summons on Chad Lee Butler.
The summons was issued by District Court in reference to an incident that occurred October 1st, 2021 when he is alleged to have forcefully entered a female victim’s residence located on Humbird Street; assaulted her, and damaged some of her property.
Butler was charged with assault, burglary, malicious destruction of property, and disturbing the peace. He signed and received copies of the charging documents and was released pending trial at District Court.
