On Tuesday, August 30, 2022, the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant and a bench warrant on Jeremy Combs. The arrest warrant was issued on August 8, 2022 as a result of a private citizen filing for charges against Combs at the District Court of Allegany County. The bench warrant was issued on August 19, 2022 as a result of Combs failing to comply with an order of the court. He was originally charged with Assault-2nd Degree. Combs was arrested and transported to Central Booking. He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and released on two $2,500 unsecured personal bonds.

TRESPASSING ARREST
On Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at approximately 6:15 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 700 block of Virginia Avenue for a trespassing complaint. Police contacted the complainant who advised that a male subject had been climbing onto the CSX train engines. The officer was able to locate John Kealey trespassing on the railroad tracks. Kealey was arrested and transported to the police station. He was later released on criminal citations pending trial at District Court.

CDS ARREST
On Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at approximately 8:15 PM, a Cumberland police officer conducted an investigative traffic stop on Queen City Drive. The stop was in relation to a disturbance that had occurred on Grand Avenue. Police contacted the rear seat passenger, Douglas Combs, and questioned him in regards to the disturbance. After further investigation, Combs was found to be in possession of controlled dangerous substances and paraphernalia. He was arrested and transported to the police station. He was later released on criminal citations pending trial at District Court.
