Baltimore Pair Busted on Interstate 68 on CDS Charges

On Friday, at approximately 5:00 PM, Deputies with the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office conducted a routine traffic stop in the area of LaVale.  

During the course of contact, it was learned that the operator of the vehicle did not possess a valid operator’s license. Additionally, Deputies observed several factors that led them to believe the occupants of the vehicle were engaged in criminal activity.  An ACSO K9 then responded to the scene to conduct a sniff of the vehicle’s exterior, and gave a positive alert to the odor of narcotics.

Pursuant to further investigation on scene, a large amount a suspected heroin/fentanyl mixture, as well as suspected crack cocaine was located. As a result of the investigation, Antron Izzard, and Blair A. Pinacle of Baltimore, MD were arrested and charged with the following:

 
Possession Schedule 1 Heroin
Possession Schedule II Crack Cocaine
Possession Schedule II Fentanyl
Possession Large Amount of Heroin
PWID Schedule I Heroin 
PWID Schedule II Crack Cocaine
PWID Heroin/Fentanyl Mixture
 
Both Izzard and Pinacle were ordered held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center following their initial appearance.
