The City of Cumberland Engineering Department, on behalf of Carl Belt Inc., would like to notify the public that the Baltimore Street Bridge will be closed to thru traffic on Monday, October 30th, at 6am through Tuesday, October 31st, at 3pm. The bridge will be reopened to one-way traffic flowing from Mechanic Street to Greene Street. The bridge is expected to be reopened to two-way traffic in June 2024.
A detour will be in place to direct vehicles around the site, during the temporary closing.
The Engineering Department will issue further notification when closures are scheduled and when traffic patterns change.
