The City of Cumberland Engineering Department, on behalf of Carl Belt Inc., would like to notify the public that the Baltimore Street Bridge will be closed to thru traffic on Monday, April 3, 2023 between the hours of 6pm and 6am in order to remove the existing beams for the bridge. A detour will be in place to direct vehicles around the site. The roadway will be restored by 6am the following day, Tuesday April 4, 2023. The Engineering Department will issue further notification when night time closures are scheduled and when traffic patterns change.
