Allegany County District Court Judge Erich Bean has been named administrative judge for the District Court for Allegany and Garrett Counties. Judge Bean will succeed District Court Administrative Judge Jack Price who will step down in preparation for retirement in March of 2025. Bean has been an associate judge to the District Court since 2019 and has also been an assistant state’s attorney. He earned his juris doctorate from the University Of Baltimore School Of Law and was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2009.
