According to local officials, the outlook for Allegany County is a positive one. While many projects are in the pipeline that no one can speak to yet, there are outward signs that the county is moving in the right direction. An announcement on the winning bid for housing at the former Allegany High School site is forthcoming, there are talks in progress with businesses who would like to locate in the county, and officials are building a good relationship with leadership in Annapolis.
