Monongalia County sheriff’s deputies are conducting a death investigation after a body was found Monday off of Interstate 68 near the split with Interstate 79.  The body has been identified as Aaron Monette, 56, of New York. It was discovered on the westbound shoulder of I-68.  The body has been transported to the state Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
