For the second consecutive year, Miss Allegany County is the new Miss Maryland of the Miss AMERICA Organization. Miss America Organization is a scholarship pageant, not to be confused with Miss USA which is a contest with a modeling contract and liberal rules and regulations for the contestants. Bridget O'Brien was crowned at the Maryland Theatre Saturday night.
