Local breast cancer survivor Debbie Fornwalt, and weekday morning anchor from WUSA TV 9 in Washington Andrea Roane were guests Tuesday morning on WCBC’s “Jim Drake Show” to discuss the “Buddy Check 9” breast cancer prevention program. The Program began at WUSA in 1993, and since that time- on the ninth of each month, Andrea encourages viewers to team up with a friend or relative to follow the National Cancer Institute’s 3 step breast examination detection program.
