Longtime business and community leader Dave Christopher has passed away. Christophers Photo Lab was a family owned business that began in 1946 and remained open until 2021 whenit closesd as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic impacting the business. The business did $2 million annually at its peak in the 1990s and employed up to 75 people as it produced photos for studios across the country. Dave was active with the business until he retired in 2008. In addition to his business, his great passion in life was Fort Hill Sentinel football and he made headlines by attending more than 700 consecutive games beginning in the 1950’s. Dave Christopher was 83. The Scarpelli Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
