Kelly Schulz, former Maryland Secretary of Commerce and former Secretary of the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation visited and toured the Western Maryland Works facility in LaVale Friday afternoon- and walked away impressed with the local effort. Western Maryland Works, located at 7 Lane Avenue, is a full-service makerspace, workforce development, and training facility that provides access to state of the art technology and equipment.
