Major David Morgan of the Allegany County Sheriff’s Department has officially filed to run for Sheriff.  Major Morgan announced on Friday that he had made the decision after months of discussion with his wife. Morgan said current Sheriff Craig Robertson had approached him about running for the office. Sheriff Robertson said he would not be seeking another term.
