WCBC Radio and the Chamber of Commerce sponsored a candidates’ forum Monday night at Allegany College of Maryland as the seven school board candidates answered multiple questions as they prepare for the June 24 primary election. Challenger Lorelee Farrell said the county commissioners and the school board should cooperate and agree that education is a priority.
Incumbent Sara-Beth James expressed some optimism that the relationship can improve.
Challenger Bill Davis says his experience will help him deal with the county commissioners.
