Allegany County Commissioners President Dave Caporale recently spoke to WCBC about what he is hearing as far as new businesses locating in the county as well as present businesses sticking around. There are currently plans for Sierra Hygiene Products, a subsidiary of Webstaurant, to expand their business in the Frostburg Industrial Park – already a 100,000 square foot facility. In addition, Caporale stated that talks are in progress with a medical waste recycler from the Frederick area that would like to expand into Allegany County. The commissioner said that the county is open for business – interested parties are always welcome to contact Economic Development or any of the county commissioners…
Caporale said that businesses are looking at the Hunter Douglas property and other industries in the area say they are happy to stay in the county…
