(Cumberland, MD) – Maryland State Police – Cumberland Barrack will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint during the weekend of June 30, 2018. The operation will be conducted with the primary purpose of educating the motoring public in Allegany County about the dangers of impaired driving. During the checkpoint, law enforcement will focus their effects on detecting and apprehending violators of Maryland’s impaired driving laws.

(Cumberland, MD) – Law enforcement agencies from throughout Allegany County will join forces to conduct a sobriety checkpoint during the weekend of May 26, 2017. The operation will be conducted with the goal to reduce the number of drunk and impaired drivers on Allegany County roadways.
