WBAL reports there could soon be a third span for the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. The feds have given the green light to the state's plan to build it right next to the current bridge. There was talk of moving it toward Crofton and Easton, but a federal impact study says moving it next to the current bridge would better reduce traffic. Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman says he prefers a plan that sends traffic to other areas of the county.
