Adult Arrest
On 6/7/2021 at approximately 6:00 PM the Cumberland City Police Department were dispatched to the 600 block of North Mechanic Street for an assault. Officers arrived on scene and spoke to the victim. The victim advised they were assaulted by Evan McKinley West. Officers observed injuries to the victim consistent with an assault. Mr. West was placed under arrest and taken before a District Court Commissioner. Mr. West was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond. The victim did not require medical treatment.

Charge – Assault 2nd Degree
