On March 30th, 2017 officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence on the 400 block of Baltimore Ave for a report of a possible assault. When officers arrived on scene, they could hear yelling and glass breaking inside the residence. Officers entered the residence and contacted Moses Eugene Dupree, age 33, of Cumberland MD. Dupree was uncooperative and aggressive with the officers on scene. Dupree then assaulted one officer and was placed under arrest after a brief struggle. A second officer was also assaulted by Dupree while making the arrest. During the struggle with Dupree, Dario Darnell Thornton interfered with the arrest and attempted to assault the officers. He was also arrested. While being held in the police station, Thornton attempted to pick the lock and remove his handcuffs. He was additionally charged with attempted second degree escape. Both were taken to the District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing. Dupree was released on his own recognizance. Thornton was held on $3,000 at the Allegany County Detention Center.

At approx, 0310hrs, officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to an E. Elder Street residence for a report of a burglary. Officers arrived and located Tisha Lynn Lloyd inside the residence. Officers determined that Lloyd was not allowed to be inside the residence and attempted to take her into custody. Lloyd refused to cooperate with officers and attempted to pull away. Officers struggled with Lloyd but were able to take her into custody. She was transported to Cumberland Police Headquarters for processing. Lloyd was later taken before the District Court Commissioner where she as released pending trial.

Charges: 4th Degree Assault, and Resisting Arrest
At approx, 0317hrs officers were dispatched to a Maryland Avenue residence for an assault. Officers arrived and made contact with the female victim. She advised officers that after an argument between her and Glenn Paul Plummer Jr. she was assaulted. Officers observed visible signs of injuries to the female victim. Officers took Plummer into custody without incident. Plummer was transported to Headquarters and later taken before the District Court Commissioner. At the conclusion of the hearing Plummer was held without bond.
