In that incident, the Cumberland Police responded to the 200 block of Greene Street for an assault complaint.  There they made contact with Dalton Thomas Dean who advised he had been assaulted by an adult female. Dean provided information about the location of the incident and other details of what occurred.  As police continued to investigate the incident witnesses were interviewed, surveillance video was watched, and evidence was collected. An application for charges was filed with the District Court Commissioner and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Dean was taken before a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing where he was released on his personal recognizance pending trial in District Court.  The victim did not require medical treatment.
