High school juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to receive training as nursing assistants in a new program at Lighthouse Christian Academy. Lighthouse is a K-12 school on Bedford Road in Cumberland and this fall will kick off their new Health Care Occupations program. Mandy Bise, RN – school nurse at Lighthouse, says students finishing the training will be able to work as Certified Nursing Assistants or Geriatric Nursing Assistants or continue their education…
Some requirements are needed to join the program. Students must enroll at the school by July 31…
