The annual PACE Reception in Annapolis was held Thursday night at the Annapolis Westin Hotel. PACE began as a lobbying in the mid 1970s and it’s an acronym for “Positive Attitudes Change Everything”. Allegany County Commissioner Bill Atkinson spoke with WCBC News and discussed the Riverside Park Project. Atkinson feels that removing the dam under the Blue Bridge should be able to move forward.
Approximately 350 people attended Thursday night’s annual PACE reception in Annapolis. Allegany County Commissioner Bill Atkinson said promoting the Riverside Park Project is a top priority. The commissioner added that neighboring West Virginia has been supportive.
