With the holiday season and Black Friday just about upon us, Comptroller Peter Franchot is once again encouraging Marylanders to Shop Maryland for the Holidays with an emphasis on shopping local. Franchot says that with one in five Marylanders directly or indirectly working in retail, the holiday shopping season is important to retailers throughout the state.
