The annual Confederate History Month Celebration will be held this Saturday at 2pm at the Pollack Family Cemetery off River Road. Ed Taylor, Jr of the Cumberland Historic Cemetery Organization tells WCBC that the celebration includes a history reading and memorial service. Members of the Pollack family buried in the cemetery were States’ Rights sympathizers during the Civil War but were not slave-holders. Two significant family graves are located in the cemetery…
