CPD Makes Theft Arrest

On Saturday, December 24, 2016 at approximately 1:30 PM, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Queen City Drive business for a shoplifting complaint.  Upon arrival, officers contacted the suspect, Stephanie Michelle Faith.  After investigation into the incident, officers determined that Faith stole merchandise.  Multiple stolen items were recovered.  Faith was placed under arrest, processed, and released on a criminal citation pending trial.

 

ARRESTED:  Stephanie Michelle Faith     AGE: 29            Cumberland, MD

CHARGES:  Theft less than $100

On Wednesday, August 3, 2016 Officers from the Cumberland Police Department were called to a Queen City Drive business in reference to a theft.  Upon their arrival they spoke to the employees of the store.  The employees stated there was a female acting suspicious, walking up and down the aisles inside the business.  The employees watched the female and observed missing items from the shelves where the suspect had been standing. The suspect then ran out of the business, entered a vehicle and left the area.  Officers were given a description of the female suspect and the vehicle and they were able to identify the suspect.  They responded to a Cumberland residence and located the vehicle and the suspect, Keri Donaldson.  Upon speaking to Donaldson, she admitted to the theft and turned the stolen property over to the Officers.  Donaldson was placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland Police Department for processing.  She was issued a Criminal Citation and was released pending trial in Allegany County District Court.
