The 4-H Robotics Qualifier was held at the Allegany County Fair in July, and ACPS had one team from John Humbird Elementary School, five teams from West Side Elementary School, and two community teams consisting of mostly ACPS students, participate. The Cresaptown community team will now be representing Allegany County at the state fair at the end of the month.
Jessica Mellon of the University of Maryland Extension will once again offer 4-H robotics lessons to ACPS 3rd graders this year.
