On Friday, January 12th, 2024, the Cumberland City Police served a Criminal Summons on Issac Michael Case, 23, of Cumberland MD. The summons was in reference to an incident that occurred on January 4th in the 900 block of Maryland Ave. During the incident, Case, along with other individuals was placed under arrest for burglary of a vacant home. During his Initial intake, Case had been charged under a false name that he had provided to the arresting officers. It was not until after his initial release that officers had learned that Case had provided a false ID. As a result, the initial charges were dismissed and new charges issued under his proper name. Case was then served the summons and released, pending trial in District Court.

Charges: Burglary 4th Degree, Display Gov’t ID of Another, Fraud-Per. Ident. Avoid Prosecution, False Statement to Officer x2.
